Course Overview

Qirat is the science of the various authentic ways of reciting the Quran. This advanced course covers the ten well‑known recitations (Qira'at), their chains of transmission, and the unique Tajweed rules for each.

Students will not only learn to recite in different styles but also understand the history and methodology behind each Qira'ah.

Complete review of Hafs rules and practice with the entire Quran.

Module 3: Warsh 'an Nafi'

Key differences between Hafs and Warsh, including Madd, Fath, and Imalah.

Module 4: Qalun, Al-Duri, and Others

Study of less common recitations and their unique features.

Module 5: Practical Application

Recitation workshops where students demonstrate multiple Qira'at with fluency.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of Quran with Tajweed course (advanced level)
  • Ability to recite with proper Makharij and Sifaat
  • Strong commitment and time for daily practice
