Course Curriculum
Module 1: Introduction to Tafseer
History, methodology, and importance of Tafseer; introduction to major Mufassireen.
Module 2: Tafseer of Surah Al-Fatiha
Detailed analysis of the Opening Chapter – its names, meanings, and benefits.
Module 3: The Last Ten Surahs
Deep dive into Surahs 1, 103-114, focusing on Tawheed, refuge, and daily supplications.
Module 4: Stories of the Prophets
Tafseer of verses related to Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, and Isa (peace be upon them).
Module 5: Legal Rulings (Ahkam)
Understanding Quranic commands on prayer, charity, marriage, and ethics.
Module 6: The Hereafter & Divine Attributes
Verses about Jannah, Jahannam, and Allah's names and attributes.
Prerequisites
- Ability to read Quran (Nazira level)
- Basic understanding of Arabic is helpful but not required
- Commitment to attend classes regularly
